Interview anxiety is real, but it doesn't have to keep you from the job you're qualified for. Led by a Psychologist and a Speech-Language Pathologist, this clinic delivers interview preparation support and tools to manage your nervous system response, so you can prepare your mind and body for successful job interviews.

This clinic was designed for people:

  • Actively applying for jobs and dreading the interview
  • Not getting past the interview round despite being qualified
  • Freezing, rambling, or talking in circles during interviews

This structured group program is covered under most extended health insurance providers under psychological services

Is interview anxiety holding you back?

You're qualified and prepared. And yet, when the interview starts, something shifts. You freeze, ramble, your body reacts in ways that feel hard to control. This isn't a lack of ability. It's a common response to high-stakes evaluation, but its time to take control.

This group is for you if

  • You're actively applying for jobs and struggling with interview anxiety

  • You avoid applying because of fear of interviewing

  • Racing thoughts, blanking, or panic, overwhelm you during interviews

  • You struggle with public speaking or speech anxiety

  • You're ready to try a new approach in a a supportive group setting

  • You need support preparing, rather than overcoming anxiety

  • You’re seeking a quick fix or guaranteed interview outcome

  • You’re looking primarily for resume-writing or job-search strategy support

  • You prefer a fully individualized/private service rather than a group format

What to expect

  • Learn to manage your nervous system responses during high-pressure situations
  • Build confidence by practicing structured responses to behavioural interview questions
  • Interactive online sessions designed to help you prepare for  real interview situations in a supportive, small-group environment
  • Develop strategies to organize and communicate your answers clearly under pressure 

Group includes:

  • 5 psychologist-led online group sessions (90 min. weekly). Evidence-based support for interview and performance anxiety

  • Some sessions will also be led by a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support communication and delivery coaching

  • Practical strategies for answering behavioural interview questions

  • Live interview practice and mock interview exposure

  • Small-group format limited to 8 participants

Sessions are run by a registered therapist and covered by most extended health insurance providers.

Dr. Amanda is an organizational psychologist specializing in career development, public speaking, and performance anxiety. Through her counselling practice and signature programs, she combines practical strategies with evidence-based psychological approaches - helping professionals communicate with clarity, navigate self-doubt, and show up with greater confidence. Her work has been published in leading outlets including Harvard Business Review.

Paula Rosen

Speech and Language Pathologist

Paula Rosen is a Speech-Language Pathologist and professional communication coach with a background in theatre and performance. She helps clients find their words, say them well, and feel more confident in professional and personal communication. Paula earned her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University and is a member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
