Amanda delivered a session titled, Fear-less: Building Public Speaking Self-Confidence workshop for 60 University of Toronto Engineering graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. She supported participants to reflect on their public speaking anxieties, provided strategies to navigate anxiety and develop self-confidence, and set goals to continue their learning post-workshop. Ninety-seven (97%) of participants agreed or strongly agreed that this workshop helped them understand their public speaking anxiety. Amanda is a thoughtful, engaging organizational psychologist who brings deep knowledge and evidence-based research on public speaking anxiety to create meaningful learning experiences that build confidence. I highly recommend her for your next engagement.
